Track status after big rains.

Posted from the track.

40/50 nearly online after Shane’s crew have been busting chops on the FR line, tabletops have been dug and the 40/50 is looking awesome after some rectification work.

Meanwhile, Bob and Milo have walked top to bottom and have seen the track retain itself really well. The most significant thing seen was the rock chute and the new line the rain and subsequent water flow. Copious amounts of water has created a new rutted line which if anything is awesome but needs some work to make it half as risky. They got dirty and shaved the soil into the little g-out after the last bridge.

Productive day from all of the lads, thanks everyone.

Bob and Milo’s handy work. Photo doesn’t show much, but pushed a lot of soil into the cap and created the first abutment.

Water line on right side

Simon and Mick’s “Frenchie” work a bloody ripper.

Water run off nicely to right before jump.

Water line running into bridge.

Nice water/rock rut created near tree. Don’t get cocky down here!

Hole just after the first rock slab into chute!

Awesome drainage.

Another “Awesome drainage” spot.

IMG_0290

Looking good.

IMG_0291

Looking good x2

IMG_0292

Water run off has created a tidy line through here.

IMG_0293

Looking good third time round.

IMG_0294

Slight pooling, probably from a heap of water, little run off channel working a treat.

IMG_0295

No probs.

IMG_0296

No probs part 2.

IMG_0317

Some extra drainage needed.

IMG_0320

Nice water run-off.

Fire Trails. These were taken up the only section that hasn’t been worked on, we will need some hard yakka here over the coming weeks. For most part, 4×4 access is still good, however the ruts in one spot have opened up.
